In order to manage the activities of EAAE 195th Seminar, the organizing institution asks you to provide some personal information. This policy explains how your data is collected, used, and protected.


Data Processing

Pursuant to GDPR 2016/679 (Articles 13–14) and the subsequent Italian Legislative Decree 101/2018, the organizing institution is committed to respecting the confidential nature of the information provided by participants. The data collected is processed solely for purposes connected to and instrumental to the conference registration and payment activities.

The provision of such data by the interested parties is mandatory for the purposes of participation requirements.

Email Communications

By registering for the conference, you will receive transactional emails related to:

  • Registration confirmation and payment receipts
  • Bank transfer instructions (if applicable)
  • Account credentials (for guest accounts)
  • Payment status updates

Email Tracking

To improve the quality of our communications, emails may contain a tracking pixel (1x1 transparent image) that allows us to know if the email has been opened.

Payment Security

Credit card payments are processed through NEXI, a certified and secure online payment platform. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment details on our servers. Bank transfer details are provided for manual wire transfers only.

Data Retention

Your personal data will be retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including accounting and legal obligations. Registration data is typically retained for 24 months after the event date. You may request earlier deletion by contacting the data controller.

Cookies

This website uses only technical session cookies that are strictly necessary for the functioning of the registration system. No profiling or third-party tracking cookies are used. Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser.
